Virtual Seminar Series

The Florida Bicycle Association is proud to launch their Virtual Seminar Series (VSS) with a FREE three-part exploration into Electric Bicycles as part of Florida’s Mobility Week (10/30 – 11/6) and the Love to Ride Florida Challenge (November). The VSS is FREE and will be hosted as Zoom Webinars. Pre-registration is required to attend each session.
Each of the three sessions will focus on a key area as it relates to electric bicycles (E-Bikes). The topics, dates, and moderators are outlined below:
E-Bikes – Economics, Nuts and Bolts
Our first session, hosted by former FBA Board Secretary Jim Dodson, was a discussion held with two bicycle shop owners in Florida: Jason Brown of Road & Trail Bicycles in Lakeland, FL; and Philipp Pfäffli of Pedelec SQB in Punta Gorda, FL. Here’s a sample for your viewing pleasure:

Friday, November 20, 12PM: E-Bikes – Laws and Enforcement
Our third session, hosted by FBA Board Director Angela Ryan, will showcase the local municipalities’ regulatory/enforcement point-of-view on the recent Florida law to classify E-Bikes into three categories. The deadline to register has passed.
