Good news! State parks safe for now

It looks like state parks have been ‘held harmless’ in the new governor’s budget.  However, this is not the end of the battle.  The legislature might still opt to take the 15% reduction in DEP’s budget and close parks in order to plug the 3.5 billion dollar hole in the state budget.
