Street play is OK at Clearwater Sunday Ciclovía (see-kloh-VEE-uh)!

Enjoy a day of family fun and healthy activities on a car-free, carefree Cleveland Street. Two miles of downtown Clearwater streets will be off-limits to car traffic on March 1, 2009, from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, so cyclists, strollers, skaters, joggers and dogs walkers can take over for a day of street play.

• Take a thrilling ride on the dips, hills and curves of the Ciclovía route on its way to sparkling Clearwater Harbor.
• Breathe in the fresh morning air during tai chi, aerobics or Zumba classes at Clearwater’s newest park—Station Square Park—and other venues.
• See what downtown restaurants and businesses are serving up special on event day.
